Centod
Anti-Spyware 2008 is the
rogue anti-spyware program that dupes unsuspecting
users into registering (paying) for a full version
of the program in order to remove a supposed spyware
infection. Centod will generate pop up advertisments
and false security alerts. This malware can reinstall
and recreate itself after removing. Centod may also
download and install other software without your permission.
Centod may be distributed through bundles of trojans
and other malware. This program is a clone of Awola
and Zinaps rogues.
It is strongly recomended to remove Centod from your
computer.
Centod is a security risk that may give exaggerated
reports of threats on the compromised computer. The
risk then prompts the user to purchase a registered
version of the software in order to remove the reported
threats.
